Just need that extra determination

Bloxham were at home to witney vikings and were looking to put their poor display behind them against banbury united last week.
Bloxham started well soaking up vikings pressure and hitting them on the break.
As vikings pushed forward Bloxham got there chance when the ball was passed out wide to Ben who ran down the right wing and made a great through ball to Dziugas whose pace was to much for the back four and latched on to the ball and knocked it past the keeper 1-0.
a good start Bloxham had now got something to build upon but it was short lived as the vikings broke down the defence and smashed it passed the keeper.1-1
As Bloxham tried to push forward vikings kept getting there tackles in and pushing the bloxham team.
With the pressure vikings were putting on Bloxham they managed to win a free kick and before Bloxham could sort themselves out vikings had taken it and caught Bloxham napping as on of there players had a free header to knock it past the keeper 1-2.
The rest of the half was similar as Bloxham tried to hit them on the break and just before half time were unlucky not to equalise when Sam made a long kick forward which bounced over the defenders head which Dzuigas latched onto and was through on goal only to hit it just inches wide.
Second Half
To be fair vikings controlled the second half Bloxham struggled to get the ball out of there half but defended really well but with all the pressure it was only a matter of time before vikings scored a 3rd and that's what happened when Bloxham were ball watching and one of the viking players was left unmarked at the back post to hit it past the keeper 1-3.
Bloxham kept on battling and had a couple of chances near the end but it was to late and vikings were worthy winners.

Review: Bloxham are learning this is going to be a hard season and will have to battle hard this season.
they need to start winning the midfield battles and play with there heads up.
Bloxham played better this week and at times made some good passes and got stuck in.
there fitness needs to be worked on but that will come but if they keep getting stuck in and have that never give up attitude they will start getting positive results.
