Another clean sheet
Well what a great day for a game of football,the sun was out the pitch was in good condition and tea and bacon butties were being served.
Today bloxham traveled to ironestones to play banbury united in the cup.
Banbury kicked off and try ed to put bloxham under pressure but Bloxham coped well and counter attacked well creating chances but couldn’t seem to get it past the keeper.
Banbury had one clear chance but Matthew came off his line like a whippet and spread him self like butter being spread on toast and made a great save.
That was the only real chance that banbury had as Ellis,Kajius and max Carter kept them quite with some good defending.
Bloxham kept on creating g chances but just couldn't seem to put those chances away.
Half time 0-0
In the second half Bloxham made a change and brought on crouchie who went up front.
Well what an impact with in 5 mins bloxham were 1 nil up when Taylor maskell made a through ball pass to crouchie who lached onto it and beat the defender for pace and scored.0 - 1
Suddenly it was like a weight had been lifted off there shoulders and Bloxham were now in complete control it was attack after attack with Bloxham dominting play and it was ed who broke free down the left to score the second.
The midfield was great with challenges going in and winning the tackles.
With all the domince bloxham scored a third when Taylor had a shot from distance to see his shot sneak under the keeper.
Banbury didn't have one chance on goal in the second half and Bloxham ended seeing the game out comfortably.
MOM: This week went to Ed his work rate was great his energy in the first 3 matches has been spot on and he carried that on again today good performance.
Keep it up.
Review: BLOXHAM carried on were they left off on wedsenday with closing down working hard as a unit and creating good chances.
The only negative is they do give the ball away cheaply to the oppersition like with there throw in and some times just kicking it to the oppersition but they are working hard working hard to get back to win the ball and starting attacks.
Well boys I really think now you are starting to relise that with hard work comes rewards.
