Team work shined through

Bloxham travelled to bicester to play a midweek evening match against bicester colts.
Bicester started the match and were more alert in the first 5mins but Bloxham then strated to get into the game and Bloxham created better chances with bicester struggling to handle bloxham pace up front.
Bloxham had some clear cut chances but just couldn't take them.
Defensively bicester just couldn’t break through and the bloxham midfield just got the ball and set up the attacks.
Half way through the first half Bloxham got the break it was a long ball to Ed who jumped and flicked it on and he then turned and chased his own flick on and beat the defender got the ball ran at goal and scored 0-1.
Bloxham controlled the rest of the first half by not bombing forward and saw the first half out to half time comfortably.
Second half
Bloxham kicked off and like the first half were a bit slow to get going but they soon found there stride and created some great chances but just couldn't get the second goal.
Bloxham were working really hard and it paid off when max leonard burst down the right wing and crossed it for Alfie prentice to put it in to make it 0 - 2.
Bloxham kept piling on the pressure and manged to win a free kick which when taken resulted to a bicester player hand balling it in the penalty area.
Max leonard stepped up and calmly slotted it past the keeper 0-3.
Bloxham carried on closing down right to the end and got the result that they had worked so hard for.

MOM: Matthew I thought he made some good saves and kept a clean sheet his overall performance was great and he should be really pleased.

Review: Bloxham did really well they closed down they played as a team and they learnt to manage a game in bits which was good to see.
When they went 1 nil up they didn't all bomb forwarded they took there time played football and looked for the right opportunity to attack.
Overall the work rate was great and they should all feel proud of themselves for a great team performance.
Well done.
