Bloxham struggle to get going

Bloxham were playing at home against middleton cheney on what was a lovely warm morning.
The game kicked off and it was Middleton Cheney who pressed quit well but it was Bloxham who had the first chance when crouchie was through on goal only for the keeper to save it.
Middleton Cheney grew in confidence as the game went on and were rewarded when they scored first.
Middleton kept pushing and made it difficult for Bloxham to get into there rythem and again middleton cheney broke down the right to take a shot which the keeper had covered but unfortunately couldn't keep it out.
Bloxham didn't change there style and were rewarded when crouchie ran down the wing and crossed it into the box were Ryan met it with his left foot to put it past the keeper.
Half time 1-2
Second half :
Bloxham still struggled but started to try and push forward more and managed to break down the Middleton cheney defence with a through ball by Ryan which crouchie latched onto and broke away from the defence to slot it past the keeper.
Bloxham were getting a bit more positive and again they manged to take the lead when Kajius got the ball to Alfie prentice who took his chance well 3-2
Bloxham were starting to get a little bit of success and got another goal to make 4-2 when Taylor maskell fed the ball to Max leonard who was one on one with keeper and scored.
Bloxham were in control but like last week can't seem to stop leaking goals and unfortunately in the last 10 mins middleton cheney piled on then pressure and scored 2 goals.
To be fair Bloxham had a few chances to win the game but their keeper Did well.
Full time 4-4
Review:
For some reason bloxham struggled to day the communication was poor and they lost the battle in midfield players weren't closing the opposition down quick enough and seemed to sit off them.
The positives is that even though we didn't play well we still got a result and scored goals we just need to work harder as a team when defending and to limit the amount of goals we are conceding.
MOM: it was difficult to choose some one as no one really stood out but after a long think about it I decided Ellis Boyes the reason is he chased every ball and read the game well and swept up any mistakes that were made at the back.
Well done.
