Looking forward to next season

Bloxham played their last league match as they will start there first league match next season on an full size pitch with full size goals playing 11 v 11.
There opponents for this match was Bicester town colt stars.
Bloxham were looking forward to the game and the experience of playing proper football.
At the start Bloxham had an early scare as bicester broke free of the Bloxham back line and had an 1 on 1 with the keeper but sam made a great save and Bloxham managed to clear their lines.
After that early scare Bloxham dominated the first half creating chance after chance but just couldn't get the ball in the net they hit the crossbar and the keeper made some good saves.
Bloxham kept their patience and played the passing game creating chances from out wide but the chance came when Bloxham played down the middle when Hamish made a great run between 2 defenders and Dzuigas flicked the ball on when he won his header and Hamish ran on to it and was through on goal and calmly slotted it into the bottom right hand corner.
Half time 1-0
After a couple of changes at half time Bloxham carried on like they did in the first half and within 5 mins of the second half had doubled their lead when Dan Baldwin made a great through ball to Ben who out ran the bicester defence and finished his chance.
Bloxham battled well and won there tackles well in midfield and it wasn't long when Ben had a shot at goal the keeper could only parry it away but it fell to Thomas who put it past the keeper to make it 3-0.
Bicester were struggling as Bloxham kept on pushing forward and this time it was Thomas who made an assist for Ben who took his chance well when he lobbed the keeper from 18 yards out a really good finish.
Bloxham changed formation and were caught out by a long ball and the bicester player scored to make it 4-1.
Bloxham finished strongly when Ben had a shot and the keeper messed up and scrambled to keep the ball from crossing the line the Bloxham players put their hands up and shouted goal as they said it had crossed but the ref said no then shortly after the ref blew for full time.

Review: Bloxham played really well they Dominated the match from the start they passed it well across the floor and they learnt from the game when they played easington when they did not win their tackles in midfield but this time they did and they used the width well which created a few chances and the goals the team scored were well taken.

MOM: Ben Fish played well in the first half was always a threat down the right hand side and could have scored a few but was even more dangerous in the second half when played upfront and set up one and scored 2 and worked hard in closing down.
The other player that deserved MOM was Hamish he was everywhere closing down winning tackles and scored the first goal his work rate was brilliant.
