Teamwork pays off

Bloxham had a tricky match against Easington Sports at home on a sunday afternoon.
Easington started off the better side as they put Bloxham under a lot of pressure in the first 10mins of the game winning corner after corner but Bloxham defended well and managed to see out the pressure.
Bloxham started to get control of midfield and slowly took control of the game with chances being made but the keeper made a good double save.
Bloxham kept going forward but it was easington that scored first with a good individual dribble by thomas smillie who dribble past 2 Bloxham players to slot it past the keeper.
Bloxham kept there heads up and went into halftime full of confidence.
After the half time team talk Bloxham came out full of confidence But like the first half it was Easington that started better and in the first 5 mins of the second half easington piled on the pressure but Bloxham defended well and got a foothold of the game by winning the
midfield.
Bloxham grew more and more in confidence as the second half went on and were winning all the second balls and got their reward when nathan made a great through ball to Duzigas who ran at the keeper and with confidence went round the keeper and slotted it into an empty net 1-1.
After that goal Bloxham started to believe and every player started win there tackles and were always looking for the forward pass.
Robert was solid at the back making some good recovering tackles and Bloxham were working like a team not only with the work rate but were also communicating with each other.
Easington had a few chances but sam was in fine form making good saves and decisions.
The hard work payed off when Bloxham got a corner and it was cleared By easington only for it to land to Ben outside the 18 yard box where it bounced for Ben to half volley it into the top right hand corner the keeper did not stand a chance as it flew past him.
