Bloxham there first match of season 2

Bloxham played there first game of 2015 in a new league after playing well and going unbeaten in the first half of the season they were looking to do the same in the second half of the season, there opponents were Banbury united puritans.
Bloxham have played puritans twice before and have ended up winners both times after some good football by both teams so this had all the marks of a good game.
The ref blew for the game to start and Bloxham went straight in with ryan and taylor winning there tackles right from the start with in 2mins bloxham had took the lead with a great pass by taylor to donal who Cooley hit it past the keeper.
once puritans started bloxham won the ball back and were on the front foot all first half and it wasn't long before taylor scored after a great run by donal who looked up saw taylor was free and passed it a cross goal to taylor who put it passed the keeper.
bloxham were buzzing and the football was really good to watch with some great passing and some nice skills.
second half was much the same as Bloxham kept on going forward and creating chances and it was some good individual running on the ball kajus broke free and scored the next goal bloxham scored was a great TEAM goal with the bloxham passing the ball to each other it was donal again who picked out kajus with a clever little pass which gave kajus the chance to control it and shoot and score.
puritans got 2 goals back right at the end but bloxham were always in control with alfi smith at the back max in goal puritans weren't going to get any more.
full time well deserved win.
second match
Bloxham took centre and with fresh players on the pitch started a bit slow and weren't quit sure about there position and spent the first 2-3 mins a bit bunched up but it was with some great footwork and some direct running that bloxham took the lead with kajus running at the defence and slotting it past the keeper.
puritans took centre and pushed forward bloxham didn't pick up the puritan players and were punished as they went on to score.
bloxham took centre and kajus went round 2 players and scored then it was riley jakemans turn after alfie prentice passed him the ball riley put it past the keeper Bloxham were in control and were playing well with riley fowler make some great tackles and some good running on the ball puritans were struggling.
in the second half bloxham kept on going forward and alfie prentice managed to beat the keeper and went on to score another.
puritans managed to score 3 more but kajus had other ideas and finished the game with great finish into the left hand corner of the goal. FULL TIME
Over all a good game by both teams but bloxham played the better football and deserved there win.
it was great to see the passing they did and the awareness of some of the players to spot there team mate and pass it was great to see.
all the players did really well and I was really pleased with what I saw.
