We are proud to announce our sponsor for the 2022/23/24 seasons will be local charity Autism at Kingwood.

We are proud to be involved with Autism at Kingwood as our team sponsor for the next two years, and below is a brief overview of their role as a registered charity working with people on the autistic spectrum:

Autism at Kingwood is a registered charity and social care provider, which provides supported living, to over 150 autistic people and people with Asperger Syndrome, helping them to live successfully in their own homes across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire.

The support provided by Kingwood ranges from 24 hour care, to a few hours of outreach for people who need a little extra support to help them live independently. We are renowned for providing support and finding solutions for complex and challenging situations.

Autism at Kingwood employs over 250 people and we really recognise the value of our staff. Encouraging personal development, we provide extensive training to staff throughout their career. We work hard to maintain staff motivation to demonstrate how valued staff are.

The autistic people we support are at the heart of everything we do. But the Autism at Kingwood values extend to the whole Kingwood family – people we support, staff, families and supporters – and the value that underpins everything we do is kindness.

Our relationship with the families of those we support is incredibly important to us and we like to work in partnership with families wherever possible.

What sets us apart is our commitment, confidence and desire to support autistic people, with a high level of professionalism and a lot of compassion. We are increasingly recognised as the charity that can support autistic people with highly challenging behaviours and are increasingly approached to support people with these needs. We will continue to provide this vital support wherever we can.
