Another great display

Work rate is the key

Bloxham played Chadlington on a damp day.
Bloxham started the match and right from the start you could see the determination in the team with their passing and energy.
Chadlington took a more defensive formation playing 3 at the back which helped Bloxham play more attacking football.
Chadlington struggled to get a grip with Bloxham passing and it was a break down the right wing which Max L made beat a player and crossed it
Into the box were Alfie John tapped it in. 1-0
Bloxham playing really well with some good passing and lots of energy they were really up for it.
The ball control was good and it was that ball control which set up the second goal when Ryan brought the ball down and made a through ball to Alfie John who slotted it past the keeper. 2-0
Bloxham were playing with real confidence and the football just seemed to flow as they kept on pushing forward.
The passing was great to watch from the defence to the forwards and it was the passing from the back to through the midfield to the forwards which led to the third goal which allowed Ed to fire home to make it 3-0.
The second half was different to the first Bloxham started to play as individuals and seem to forget how to play as a team which gave Chadlington encouragement to push forward and with that they managed to score a goal 3-1.
Chadlington never really looked like scoring another one as Bloxham defended well and in spits and spurts played the football like they did in the first half.
Fulltime 3-1
MOM: Alife John played well in midfield winning tackles and making some good passes.
His energy was good getting forward and tracking back and was rewarded with 2 goals for his hard work.
Well done and keep it up.
Review: Bloxham played well passing and closing down was spot on.
The energy in the team was good and everyone worked for each other.
The only down side was in the second half they didn't play as a team but battled well they just need to learn to play like they did in the first half for the whole of the match.

5 sports clubs amongst winners in the Jewson Building Better Communities competition.
