Bloxham travelled to helmdon to play brackley town in the league.
After the last vist Bloxham made they were taught a lesson by being knocked out the cup 5-0 a game that proved to the players that if you don't work hard then you get nothing out of it, This was there chance to show brackley that there win was lucky.
The weather was perfect and the pitch was in good condition perfect for passing the ball about.
Brackley took centre and Bloxham closed them down quickly and won the ball back and passed it well to create a chance when Max made a good run down the wing and crossed it to Ryan who controlled it and turned on a 50 pence piece to smash it passed the keeper 0-1.
Bloxham were in full control the closing down was great to see and the passing was brilliant.
brackley couldn't keep up with the movement and passing.
Bloxham came in at half time 1-0 up but it should have been 4-0 up with the a mount of chances they created.
The second half Bloxham started well passing the ball and switching the play from one side to the other and it was just a matter of time before Bloxham would be rewarded.
Bloxham managed to get another chance on goal when Max passed it to Alfie smith who managed to score with his left foot to make it 0-2.
Half way through the match brackley started to put pressure on Bloxham as they began to tire and with the heat Bloxham were finding it difficult after all the hard work put into the first half.
Bloxham won a corner but brackley cleared the corner and from that did a good counter attack and scored 1-2.
Brackley pushed forward to try and get the equalizer and Bloxham defended well and managed to hold out till full time 1-2.
MOM: Ryan did really well closing down players holding up the ball and playing in other players and causing problems for the brackley defence with his skills well done.
Review : Bloxham we brilliant in the first half with their passing and energy and closing the opposition down.
Need to improve on fitness as they tired in the second half and also learn when to go forward and when to stay back when they are winning a match and there are a few minutes to go.
Apart from that a great performance from everyone.
