clean as a whistle

Bloxham keep clean sheet at last.

Bloxham entertained ducklington and remembered the last meeting when ducklington nearly came back to snatch a point.
The game kicked off with Bloxham taking the center and they started well passing to each other and creating chances without taking any.
Bloxham seemed to over pass the ball sometimes and that gave the opposition time to get back to defend.
Ducklington defended well and it was Alfie john back heel to Ryan who could of hit it first time but decided to put his foot on the ball and the chances went begging as he was tackled.
Good closing down by Alfie john made ducklington give the ball away which fell to Ryan who flicked it up and half volleyed it from just passed the halfway line to watch it go over the keeper into the back of the net, what a finish definitely contender for goal of the season.
Would that be the goal to kick start the team to score more well they created the chances but nothing came of them.
halftime 1-0
The second half was much like the first but Ducklington created some chances but James was strong in there and did well to keep them out.
Again Bloxham created chances but couldn't seem to finish them.
with the game only being 1-0 Bloxham knew they had to score another and it was Alfie john who picked out Alfie Prentice who slotted home to make it 2-0.
That is just what Bloxham needed now there was a bit of a gap and they could relax a bit.
Bloxham saw the rest of the game out with ease.
full time 2-0
REVIEW:Bloxham played well and for the first time this season kept a clean sheet which was great.
They created a lot of chances all they have to do now is finish them.
MOM:James thought he did really well in goal with some great shot stopping and helped Bloxham keep a clean sheet.
well done.

Second match:
Bloxham kicked off and started well like the first match it wasn't long when Ryan made a mazy run and then put a through ball to kiera who scored to make it 1-0.
Bloxham started to really knock the ball about creating chances but still seemed to struggle to put it in the back of the net.
Ed came on and it wasn't long for him to make an impact when he made a defensive splitting pass Kiera who coolly finished it to make it 2-0.
The second half was completely different to the first as Bloxham conceded a goal within 2 mins into the second half 2-1.
as soon as Bloxham kicked off they lost the ball and it was 2-2.
Bloxham seemed shell shocked and conceded again straight away 2-3.
That's 3 goals in 4 mins what was going on Bloxham seemed to fall apart but to be fair they pulled themselves up and got stuck in and it was Ryan who took the ball down the wing and had a shot which the keeper pushed out which allowed Kiera to fire home her hat trick 3-3.
Bloxham grew in confidence and pushed forward and were awarded a corner, Ed took it and Kaijus scored it with a good header from the back post 4-3.
Ducklington didn't give in and the broke through the Bloxham defence to make it 4-4.
It was ducklington again who took the game to Bloxham and scored to make it 4-5.
Could that be it surely there could be no more goals but the answer to that was wrong as a good tackle by kaijus and pass to Kiera which allowed kiera to run at goal which led to a one on one with the keeper and there was only going to be one outcome yes that's right Keira scores 5-5.
Full time 5-5.
REVIEW:Bloxham started well and deserved to be 2-0 up at halftime but in the second half the old demons came back to haunt them conceding silly goals and not taking their chances.
The good thing is they never gave up and kept pushing and in the end drew 5-5 well done.
MOM:There was only one mom and that was Keira had a real impact scored 4 and really took the game to ducklington.
Kiera seems to get stronger and stronger with every game she plays well done and keep pushing yourself.
