Bloxham carry on good form

Bloxham show great individual skill and team play

Bloxham travelled to brackley to play halse utd in a friendly on a dull cold saturday.
As the game kicked off Bloxham took control straight away pressing the opposition into making mistakes.
Bloxham had a number of chances but just couldn't seem to find the net with Alfie p and Taylor hitting there shots over the crossbar.
As the game progressed the passing and movement was getting better and better but it did seem we might have on of those days in front of goal until that is Bloxham made a substitution and Ed came on and made a impact with a good pass to Taylor who finished it 0-1.
You could see the relief and joy on the players faces and the football really started to flow and it was Taylor's turn to be provider when he passed the ball into Ryan's path,Ryan beat one Defender then placed it past the keeper 0-2.
halse couldn't cope never got into the Bloxham half in the first half.
During the second half Bloxham carried on like they did in the first and were rewarded when Matthew made a pass which cut the halse defence in two for Taylor who picked up the ball and smashed it past the keeper 0-3
Halse managed to put pressure on the Bloxham goal but Max dealt with it with.
Bloxham managed to get a another goal when Ed made a pass to Taylor who that's right scored 0-4.
Bloxham created more chances but didn't convert them.
final score 0-4

MOM: Ed came on as a sub in the first half and set up the first goal and also set up the 4th goal.
Always trying to be direct and it is good to see him passing the ball just needs to learn when and when not to pass.

Review: Bloxham played really well passing the ball well and doing some great individual skills the only thing that let them down was there finishing but they created so many chances which is a massive positive.

second match

In the second match Bloxham played 8v8 and it was Bloxham again who dominated possession creating most of the chances and like the first match it was Bloxham that took the advantage when Bloxham`s pressure payed off when they won a corner Ryan stepped up to take it and delivered a good cross for Ed to volley it left footed into the goal a great finish 0-1.
Bloxham had there tails up and the confidence was flowing through the team with back heal passes and players doing ronaldo chops and 360 it was great to see and it wasn't long when Ryan made another good pass this time to Ellis who calmly beat a player and drilled it past the keeper 0-2.
Bloxham made a change and Matthew came on and what an entrance with his first touch of the ball smashed it past the keeper.
Bloxham kept the pressure on Halse and it was Ellis who won the ball passed it to Fenton who during the match had loads of chances but just couldn't put the ball past the keeper until now when he latched onto Ellis pass and smashed it past the keeper to make it 0-4.
Halse got into the Bloxham half but Max and Alfie s made sure they didn't get a shot on goal.
final score 0-4.

MOM: Fenton never gave up always trying to score and with his hard work was rewarded with a goal on his Birthday.

Review:like the first match created a lot of chances but didn't convert most of them into goals and next week we have a hard match against morton rangers so will need to be more clinical in front of goal but if we keep playing the way we are we should be fine.

Get the team together and play Fantasy League
