Solid as a rock

Bloxham were at home this week against Carterton.
The question was would Carterton attack of sit back like last time and defended.
Well to be fair they came and attacked got there reward when they got a free kick just outside the box and put top left after 2mins.
Their tails were up and passed the ball around with confident.
Bloxham struggled and couldn't seem to get into the game,they weren't closing down and didn't engage the opposition which made it easy for them to pass the ball about but Bloxham launched along ball forward and kiera controlled and played it to Taylor maskell who ran towards the goal and placed it past the keeper. 1-1
With in 10mins Bloxham found themselves with another great opportunity when Taylor maskell passed to Max L who smashed it into the bottom left to make it 2 - 1.
But Carterton were still causing problems and Bloxham were still struggling with there passing and movement.
Bloxham were not winning the midfield and couldn't seem to make there tackles count.
Half time 2-1.
After a talk to at half time Bloxham started better and scored with in 5 mins when Bloxham won a free kick just outside the box and Taylor maskell took the free kick and scored to make it 3-1.
Caterton were struggling as bloxham were clossing down and winning there tackles and it was keria who made a great run and crossed the ball for Ed to control and thumped it into the bottom right corner 4-1.
Carterton looked beat and Max L sealed their fate with a great solo run and finished it with a goal 5-1.
It was Max L turn to be provider and layed a great through ball to keria who finished it 6-1.
Bloxham looked comfortable and Carterton could break through the defence especially with Ellis sweeping up loose balls and crouchie making some great forward runs.
Alfie won a tackle and passed it to keria who with help from the post finished it to make the final score 7-1.
Review: first half was poor by the midfield but the defence was solid so that helped.
The second half was better the midfield was more engaging and that helped Bloxham create more chances and deservedly get the win.
MOM:there were 2 players that deserved the accolade that was Ellis who was solid at the back with some great tackles and one superb tackle right near the end which the opposition could of scored from.
The other is Taylor crouch who won all his tackles and carried the ball forward with confident and had a excellent game.
