Positively positive play
After no football or training for 6 months Bloxham finally had a chance to have a run out and blow some of the cob webs away.
Their first match was a friendly against wychwood who won their league last year and been promoted into the A league were Bloxham would play them in 3 weeks time so this would be a good test.
Wychwood took kick off and started quite well for the first 5 mins passing the ball with confidence but Bloxham did some good pressing and forced them into making a mistake and then with the pace of the attack managed to be 3 - 0 up with in 10 mins.
Bloxham were playing some good football with Ryan controlling the midfield and making his takles count and then finding the 3 attackers bloxham were 6 - 0 up with in 25 mins.
Aflie and Taylor were making some good through balls and tracking back there work rate was good.
When wychwood did get a chance to attack Bloxhams back line was too strong with James,Ellis,Kajuis and max showing some great solid tackles.
Bloxham kept going forward always looking for that next goal the hunger in the team was great to see.
Half time 7 - 0
Bloxham started the second half and to be fair were a bit sloppy in the first 5 mins with passes going straight to the opposition but luckily for Bloxham wychwood struggled to create anything.
Bloxham gained there composure and started to find there passing lanes again and were playing with confidence and maturity.
Wychwood couldn't get out of there half with Bloxham pinning them in.
Keira was causing them problems down the right with some good passing and dribbling.
Matthew came out of goal for the second half and went straight into midfield were he made some good tackles and some clever passes.
Ellis pushed up to drive the team forward with some fresh legs and should of been on the score sheet himself with some great chances that just went wide.
Bloxham kept going forward and never seemed to tire all the players were playing with freedom and flair and most importantly confidence.
A real good team performance.

Bloxham hadn't played together for about 6 months but you wouldn't of thought so after this performance.
