Bloxham win with strength

Bloxham played Bourton in an exciting match.
Bloxham took kick off and attacked Bourtons goal straight away and were unlucky when Dzuigas wiped in a great cross but just went beyond Ben who was in space.
Bloxham kept on pushing and had another chance but the keeper made a great save.
Hamish and nathan were doing well in midfield with Hamish winning the tackles and making some great passes out to dzuigas and with Nathan using his skills and great footwork getting past players was causing the Bourton midfield players problems.
with Bloxham having all the possession they just couldn't get that goal.
Bloxham were finally punished when Bourton hit a long ball up field and sam hesitated when came out to clear but stopped then started again which gave the Bourton player time to out pace the defence get the ball and score.0-1
Bloxham kept there heads and worked harder making some good strong tackles and were rewarded when Dzuigas got the ball out wide spotted Ben and laid a good pass in to Bens run and finished it with a cool touch into the bottom left.

Second half
Bloxham knew they could play better but just couldn't get going and it was Bourton who had the first chance but same came out and cleared.
Bloxham knew to win the game they had to win the midfield and us the wings and to be fair that's what they started to do and it was Thomas who started it with great run down the wing beat 2 players passed it across goal for Dzuigas to finish it 2-1
Bourton had a lot of fight in them and no sooner had Bloxham scored Bourton equalised with a great through ball sam came of his line but couldn't get there in time and the player knocked it passed him 2-2
Bloxham showed great character and kept on Battling and with a great ball by Ben to Dzuigas who ran at goal and smashed it past the keeper 3-2.
surly that's it but now Bourton pushed forward to try and equalise and nearly did but with Daniel and robert at the back making some good tackles and sam making some brave saves Bourton just couldn't find away through.Oli who played at the back made a great last ditched challenge that stopped the Bourton player from going through on goal.
Bloxham had the last chance when Hamish picked up the ball and ran nearly half the length of the pitch cut inside passed to thomas
who went for goal but just couldn't get enough power on the shot.

A good game played by both teams especially the second half.
