a game of two halves

Bloxham played Easington away for there first game of the season and started really well all the players seemed up for it and about half way through the first half got there break when Dzuigas struck the ball out side the 18 yard box towards the goal and it took a wicked deflection off a defender and went past the keeper in to the goal 0-1.
Easington went straight at Bloxham but with sam in goal found it difficult to get a goal.
Robert and thomas were solid at the back getting the ball away and making some good tackles Bloxham had a few more chances but couldn't seem to convert them.
Easington managed to counter attack and Robert went to win the ball but missed it and easington broke free Thomas went to cover the mistake but couldn't make the tackle in time and the easington player finished it. 1-1
easington seemed ore positive and took the lead when sam rushed out to make a save but the easington player went round the keeper and took a shot thomas managed to stop it going in but couldnt clear it further enough away and it fell to a easington player who finished it.2-1
Bloxham were determined and pushed forward and they were rewarded when Ben took the ball down the wing and was fouled just out side the box .
Dan baldwin took the free kick and buried it in the top right corner great finish the keeper just stood there as he knew he wasn't going to save it.2-2

second half.
Bloxham took center and seemed to be doing well but easington took the game to Bloxham and with in 5 mins of kick off scored 3-2.
Bloxham still believed they could win and had a couple of chances but couldn't finish it and they were punished when easington went down the other end, Sam and thomas get in a mix up and the easington player took advantage of the misunderstanding and scored.
Bloxham fell to pieces and easington were finding it to easy as they come through the middle and started to make more chances.
Bloxhams midfield was all over the place and easington went on to score 2 more.
final score 6-2.

Bloxham played really well in the first half and took the game to easington but the second half was awful players went missing and there was no discipline.
easington won the game by winning the midfield battle and deserved the win, Hopefully Bloxham haved learnt a lesson from the poor second half display.
