Bloxham cup dream ends

Bloxham played launton in the cup with the winners going into the quarter finals and it was a good game.
as the frost cleared from the pitch both teams got ready for the cup match and launton started with the kick off and played well for the first 10 mins putting bloxham under pressure but bloxham pushed out and with a great ball by Hamish found Nathan who took a great shot only for it to hit the cross bar.
launton rode there luck with bloxham making some great chances but just couldn't get there shots on target then launton attacked bloxhams goal and won a corner.
From the corner launton scored with some bad defending letting 2 launton players who were not marked stroll in and score 0-1.
Bloxham started attacking again and were so close to scoring but bens shot hit the post.
as the first half went on bloxham were knocking on the door but launton won a throw in in the bloxham half and like the corner switched off and let a player run through no one picked him up and the ball was thrown to him a bang 0-2 another goal from not picking up players and ball watching.
Bloxham kept on attacking and passing the ball well and Hamish took a shot at goal only for the launton defender to stick his hands up PENALTY.
Nathan steps up and rifles it past the keeper 1-2 Bloxham back in the game.

Bloxham kicked off with Nathan picking up the ball running at the defence went past 2 players took a shot but hit the post again.
Bloxham had another chance with tyler hitting side netting then with Nathan on through on goal and scored only for the lines man to give it off side when it wasn't.
with bloxham pushing to get that equaliser launton were just kicking it Bloxham were picking it up and were just none stop attacking and with the last 2 min remaining launton got there luck with bloxham pushing launton got the break through and end the game after scoring to make it 1-3 soon after the ref blew for full time.

Bloxham played the much better football with some great passing and movement off the ball going forward but the killer instinct just wasn't there with all the chances they made they couldn't put the ball in the net but the positive side is that they made the chances and with the work rate they put in it will only be a matter of time before things go bloxhams way.
