Bloxham get cold feet
Bloxham played eynsham away on a crisp cold morning.
the game was touch and go weather it would go a head but after a delayed kick off the ref said it was ok.
Eynsham started the better team as they made attack after attack, bloxhams defence seemed to be struggling with there positions.
with in 7mins of the first half Enysham took the lead with some confusion at the back who was picking up who Enysham scored and deserved the goal.
As the game went on bloxham grew in confidence and started to make chances but just couldn't finish.
Bloxham carried on pushing and making more and more chances they must of had 4 or 5 chances but just couldn't get the ball into the net.
just when you thought it was going to be one of those days ben got the ball out wide ran at the defence and made a great cross the keeper panicked and it fell to Dzuigas who kindly slot it in 1-1.
the first half carried on with bloxham pushing and Enysham hitting on the counter attack.
Half time 1-1
second half was about the same as the first but bloxham got there chance with some great passing football by Hamish and ben and with Hamish picking out Dzugias who managed to score 1-2.
as Eynsham kicked off they forced the game to bloxham who switched off and with some great foot work and some awful defending managed to get the equaliser 2-2.
Bloxham kicked off and started to make mistakes all over the pitch with miss kicking the ball passing to the opposition and that's how they conceded there 3rd goal Enysham crossed the ball into the box sam shouted keepers but was tackled by his own defender who knocked the ball into open play a Eynsham player picked up the ball and slotted it into an open goal 3-2.
to be fair to bloxham the last 5 mins they pressed for the equaliser and were nearly rewarded with a great chance but like the first half the wouldn't fall kindly as bodies and feet were flying every were to try and get it in the het but in the end Enysham managed to clear it.
over it was a good game by 2 teams who passed it around nicely but bloxham didn't play as well as they have been and didn't seem to show the work rate they shown in there last 3 matches but they can take a bit of hear from the gamet as they were still in the game right to the end may be next time they take there chances.
